Sprint not so smooth

Post » Tue Aug 25, 2009 11:45 pm

Is anyone else getting this? When I'm sprinting around the map it seems like I'm running and then being held back for a fraction of a second or probably a better way to explain it is you just slow down a bit every second. Its not game breaking at all but its kinda odd, I don't think it's a lag issue either since it does this in single player as well.

i haven't experienced this yet, but i'm not paying so much attention to it, and if got some other issues, with a blue screen when i'm in-game.
But when i can play normal, i will look if i have the same problem, but it could be that you have low FPS?

I've experienced this too...kinda of a rubber-banding type effect that only seems to happen when sprinting.

I have the same problem and from what I was able to figure out so far it's a net code / server problem. For me, I don't get this run stuttering while I play the Single Player campaign but I always have it in Multi-Player mode. It's the first thing I noticed in this game since I started out the Campaign first to see if it's actually playable.

Yep, rubber banding on pretty much every server, I also get around 15-25 frames because SD thought people only used nVidia cards. This game has been in development for probably over 5 years and runs like an Alpha on release. Not sure why they developed it on 3 different platforms when it plays like a piece of [censored] console port on PC. Sadly, I enjoy the game and have to put up with [censored] coding from 8$ an hour programmers. Thanks SD!
