One of the production team guys was posting blogs about the bugs he found while making the game. This blog was posted weeks before the release. Anyhow, the one bug he talked about was the Doc Mitchell's head spinning. Interesting, they right it off as a STEAM issue. That steam currupted a file. But in the blog, dude says that and the other bugs he found where fixed. Im going to keep looking for this blog because its proof that there was problems before the release, and there the same exact problems people are having right now.

Actually, there were some other ones that were cleared out. I also read his blog but he never mentioned constant freezes and lock ups. I doubt that they were unaware of them thought. The thing is, Bethesda opted to release it bugged as hell. If this was any other game, things would be different cause they always take time to iron out the game. Take a look at Gran Turismo. The thing is taking so long cause they are polishing it.

Im just looking at the fact that they new about the head bug but still said it was steams fault. also at the end its pretty funny where he says the consumer will not get to see these bugs and he hope we like the bug free version of the game. Im sure I will, as soon as you get it out to me!

Put down the Jet and fix this game please. After looking at the fixes on fallout3 im sure they can make this game at least playable. But in the same breathe they obviously had an idea of what to look for.

That is true and just proves that they rushed the thing out of the door without one single shred of shame!

I can't take it anymore....twice is two times too much.
It is "knew" not "new"
and there is something ironic about the wrong word showing up in a thread about newing* about mistakes.

Bad spelling does not detract from a valid point unless the point was lost on the individual in the first place. I wouldn't much care to nitpick about him spelling things incorrectly when, obviously at least one glitch that was present during "testing" was still there on release. The powers that be decided to blame the issue on someone else. If they'll lie on one of their own business customers to cover their butts behind an issue like that which was easily fixed, I see them having no compunction against telling customers that everything will be working soon. They probably even have spaces in heaven on reserve for people willing to pay for it..... My confidence in all things Bethesda and Obsidian has been utterly shattered.

Pedant much.

OH and by the way....

(*Yes that was intention)

should either be (*Yes that was THE intention) or (*Yes that was intentionAL) or (*Yes that was MY intention) or (*YES I am a pedantic hypocrite)

Of course they Knew, they're using the same software and engine from Oblivion, and Fallout3. Both of those games had all the same issues as this one. They still do. It's only after half-a-dozen patches will the game finally be stable enough to play. I think we've been hoodwinked, again.
