**SPOILERS**Did the Champion of C. really become Sheogorath?

SPOILERS!

I don't know if this is a constantly recycled topic or what, but this really interests me. I completed SI for the 4th time yesterday, and this interested me.

I mean, sure, due to oblivion's limitations there wasn't much you could do when you took over the Shivering Isles, but seriously, you've become the ruler of a Daedric realm, surely you could live forever?

I dunno. I just think it'd be cool if you somehow became the new Madgod, and you'd have more powers than just a weather spell and a servant. Maybe immortality?

It seemed that way, but we have no way of knowing if it's going to be considered canon or not.

You do also get a spell that can save your life, so it's optional immortality.

But you've just started the job. The realm has to adjust to you, and vice versa, before you're really the full deal. And before that, the other guy might change his mind. That does happen, you know.

Even though you get the title of Madgod, it doesn′t mean that you transform into an actual god. So while you have the title and is the ruler of the isles you′re still the same character that left Cyrodiil :icecream:

Thiiiis! After Sheogorath revealed that he was Jyggalag, and after Jyggalag opened up on that at the end of the main quest, it kinda paints the picture of 'Sheogorath' being nothing more than a title with a few benefits.

Mmm hmm. Well, until being a neglected badass who doesn't get any recognition for saving Cyrodill single handedly is declared canon, my character is a Daedric Prince.

I suppose we just don't know yet. And there's been talk of "The Prince" in Skyrim, so... let's hope.

Jyggalag now walks Oblivion, so it is unlikely that the real Sheogorath will ever come back. Maybe you will grow into his likeness? It is the land of madness after all. What is a daedric realm without a ruler? I'm sure an arrangement would be made to make you Daedra. I mean, Tiber Septim did become Talos, no reason why you can't become a Prince.
