Same here. If you let the menu in afk during some time the game crash.

And, again, this is a perfect example of how it appears that the developers didn't use this under real-world conditions. Why can't a game remain stable while you are task-switched away?

Happens to me too, it always throws the above error.

Does indeed, SD are aware of this one, reported it the day or release, so I expect they will fix in a coming patch
