everything is amazing and no one is happy

I'm so excited and happy about the game, Sure some features are going out but the fact we are actually getting a new installment in the series is the deal breaker. Think about it, remember how this time last year all we had was the ocassional slip of the lip followed by a debunking rinsed and repeated several times over? We could just as easily be on our 5th summer without a new title coming up you know or still in the dark.

No, it wasn't confermed. It's just the blind hope of a few of us who pray that hth is tied to something rather than being static.

All that's really known is that it's not tied to a skill.

Khajiits have a racial bonus that make them better at H2H. this could mean that H2H is tied to something (and that the Khajiit racial bonus interferes with that)

Probably not. Health regeneration isn't tied to anything, and Argonians get a bonus.

Ya, I've heard of the different animation. It could also mean khajiits just deal a higher static damage. Without it being tied to a skill, the only real thing it could be tied to would be stamina, and like I said before it'll be hard to increase hth damage by fighting with your fists when the only way to increase stamina is when you level up and physically put points in there.

Even if that is how it goes down, it goes against TES's core of get better at something by doing it. It makes no sense if they do it that way, and it's rather annoying that such a thing is my "last hope". :swear:

If it is like that, will I be happy? Yes, because I'll be able to kill a dragon with my fists and say HA to all those who said I shouldn't be able to. But at the same time, it'll annoy me to no end that I'm training light armor and speachcraft to increase my hth damage.

I've got no doubt that Skyrim will be one of the best games I've ever played, if not the best.

But blindly following everything BGS does gets just as annoying as the "complaint" threads. No one knows exactly what Skyrim will be like yet, even those who demo'd it didn't have long enough to make a solid judgement.

Point being, there is nothing wrong with being concerned over the decisions Bethesda makes. Most of us here are fans anyways, or we wouldn't keep posting.

I'm happy, but the things I don't like so far are the 3D map, no more resting before level-up, and the possibility of no armor degrading. That is a small list considering all of the awesome things already confirmed in.

To be honest I forgot how boring spell making is until I played Oblivion again yesterday. It's like playing with a calculator for fun.

This o and im thrilled about most of the stuff ive seen so far. :celebration:

Everything we experience is an illusion generated by our minds. Whether things are amazing or not depends almost purely upon who you are. Improvements made to the base of reality will never be accurately reflected in our perceived experience, and therefor do nothing to invalidate complaints.

Oh you've got it all wrong. Millions of people are HAPPY. Only a small % of people are unhappy and unfortunately they are just more VOCAL about their feelings than the millions of happy people who will just buy the game because they know Bethesda rocks. This game has more hype than anything EVER, and is said to live up to the hype. Sadly there will always be more complaints than compliments. ROCK ON BETHESDA, THIS IS SKYRIM!!!!

Most people are very happy, it is just a fact that you are more likely to make a fuss over a bad thing than a good thing.

I agree with you man. People here are just expressing themselves. Hell they wouldn't be here in the first place if they weren't at least mildly interested in buying the finished product. People love things about games and it makes an imprint. Change is always problematic, but not always bad. They just want to get their two cents in. Trust me there are plenty of folks like you and me on these forums and all across the gamersphere in fact.

very well said

look at what besthesda has done its an amazing game with amazing graphics, they tweaked some stuff and the combat looks amazing hell do an arogonian comparison everything about the aesthetics are improved, they grew on me im really excited about what besthesda did with skyrim, we will get over what they tweaked and if "we" dont then the game isnt for you, ill support besthesda till the end
as an ending to my post id like to post this video that seems like it fits

Of the friends of mine that are even aware that TES exists I am the only one left that is even willing to give it a chance. This is from a group of about 6 people that became hooked on MW when it came out. While a small sample size that is one huge drop....

While Beth may not be interested in catering to those of us with such high brow expectations as simple continuity, realistic character development, and presenting the game world as truly as possible.....there really is no harm for those of us that fall into that category to point out that our expectations are not even close to being met. In fact, I would hope there to be some small benefit.
