mildly Let down by blood money, and new vegas

Post » Wed Aug 26, 2009 11:28 am

i am a little let down by the blood money dlc for a few reasons. the first reason is you can not return and you do not get many more weapons or items dont get me wrong the gold bars are great when if you can lug all of them out. there are few new weapons unlike other fallout dlc's. when a new dlc comes out i like to start a new game and go straight to the signal as i did with operation anchorage in fallout 3, though this is possible with blood money it is not as fun. I am not saying new vegas/blood money is bad, i just expected a little more from it. I like those new vending machines, and the automatic rifle is awesome the story is pretty good too, the best thing is the higer level cap i think i should have waited for more dls's to come out before i got blood money and played through them all in one shot.

It just didn't feel like a part of fallout to me. It seemed like a run of the mill action adventure with a few references to fallout, the only thing missing was the powerups to run over. It was not what I expected at all and if I do go back there it will be heavily modified.

Lethal post-nuclear-apocalypse environment with freaky mutants, Hologram sentries, scarce resources, peoples who could couldn't be more diverge and the choice of turning on those who have survived with you or one that was slaving you.

What isn't Fallout about that?

Well obviously  kind of funny though I believe he's the 4th person I've seen on these forums call it Blood money. With the DLC itself I was more into it for the story which I think they did an excellent job with it wasn't really like the Fallout 3 DLC where you only go through it for the overpowered weapons and armor.

Yeah, that nit has been picked clean. Understandable mix-up, blood money is a term used in real world, dead money means nothing :)
