Connection to the game session has been lost

Hi all,

Is anyone else getting disconnected a minute or so into multiplayer games with the message "Connection to the game session has been lost"? I have had a poke around some other forums but not found an solution to the issue, I am not sure if this is a bug with my system of a game bug.

Help appreciated.

Yeah, I'm getting it too. Are you on a BT or O2 router? (Just a hunch)

There's this fix for other games:

But I'm not sure how to apply it to Brink.

And yes, it's the [censored] thomson routers that's the problem of the disconnects.

Ah, the Thomson routers, hehehe

I had problem connecting Napoleon Total War when I had Thomson router... the issue is that it tells you ports have been forwarded when they actually haven't been. The only solution that worked for me was to buy a new router.

I bought a Netgear DG834 and my connection issues disappeared straight away.
