What do you think of Mr New Vegas?

Post » Wed Aug 31, 2011 12:32 pm

I was playing some NV with my friend a few days ago and I put Radio New Vegas on as usual and Mr NV said his line to do with "don't be shy. I feel it between us too." and my face is always like "*squee* :3" but my friend said "Urgh, he's a wrinkly old pervert."

I was very confused. After a quick discussion it seems my friend sees Mr New Vegas as being inappropriate and a bit creepy, whereas all I hear is a nice, good humoured old guy.

Which one of us is right???

Well, Mr. New Vegas isn't really 'old' in a human sense, he's an AI programmed by Mr. House before the War. As to his personality, he reminds me of the atypical 'lounge lizard' personality. But I like him over Three Dogg, he's cool and all don't get me wrong, but Mr. New Vegas is a pretty charismatic guy.

I think he is pretty cool, but Three Dog definitely was funnier. And I like how he actually commented on your doings in the Capital Wasteland, while Mr. New Vegas only has about 20 lines of dialogue.

I think Mr. New Vegas is a creepy, old, rapist computer AI whos spends too much of his time when he's not repeating the same message over and over again, watching creepy fetish porm, therefore hidnering his ability to learn that you're important and his ability to make new lines. He somehow managed to hobble together a mix-tape, which is probably the screams of small children who went to get his autograph being dragged into his layer beneath an old abandoned shack.

That is my opinion of Mr. New Vegas.

It fits tbh, One of Wayne Newton's nicknames is Mr. Las Vegas after all. Having performed over 25000 shows on The Strip by 1994 he is an icon and when I see his face or hear his voice I really do think about Las Vegas and entertainment.

Words can't describe how much I just laughed at this.

Loved the idea of him, and I do agree with Obsidian's decision to bring in a face of Vegas to play that role, but Mr. New Vegas himself is just boring and repetitive.

In my opinion I'd rather have Mr. NV's voice than Three Dog's. Even if he does repeat some stuff.
