Is it hard to be bad?

I've been trying to reduce my karma since the starting of the game but whenever I killed a Fiend, it regain good karma pretty quickly and It doesn't make any sense and It's unpredictable. This is odd compared to FO3 since in FO3 killing innocent people will reduce karma but is happening only for several character in FNV.

I had slightly negative or neutral karma for a while with my latest game. Not exactly sure but I think you have to kill good people, double cross them etc. Seems that reading the wiki for the completion of the main quest lines you can end the game with bad karma.

It seems you mostly have to resort to murder which is sad. I would like bad karma, but I don't want senseless genocide all the time(although it's fun).

I could never get my karma to stay in the "bad" zone. So I really just stopped worrying about it. The karma system is sort of bugged in my opinion anyway. I hardly think, for instance, that killing fiends in self defense and only in self defense counts as a "good" act.

It depends on how "in tune" you are with the game. At the beginning of playthroughs, I steal everything that isn't nailed down and roll with Bad Karma. But by the middle, I am a person comparable to Joshua Graham. Without the killing and the being a burning half-dead general falling down the Grand Canyon, of course. :spotted owl:
