A few days ago someone suggested that you & Ulysses more then just crossed paths... Take a look at the picture posted about lonesome road.

If you look at the picture with the Missile, and Ulysses standing back turned in front, you will notice to both the left, and right side there our tubes.

It was suggested that these tubes were actually Cryo Chambers for both Ulysses & for You... the Courier.

This is one theory of a possible Relationship between you & Ulysses.

Hmm I'm Not so sure cause if u have the lady killer perk an talk to the lonesome drifter the courier confirm's that he has a 18 year old kid somewhere in montana which would mean that the courier got around.Not sure what the tanks are for maybe to see the nuke go off u know so u don't get burned by the fire that comes from the rocket.

I'm pretty sure the Cryo Chambers have something to do with Futurama.

This is what I thought it to be. It's not serious. I had speculated that Ulysses was trying to awaken a Vault of frozen people, but maybe YOU and He were the only ones to make it out alive meaning that you were frozen and no have amnesia. It's no coincidence that we know NOTHING about The Courier's past. Zero.

He wants you to detonate the nuke and if you don't he battles you. And if you do set it off both of you go to the cryo chambers or he might backstab you on the way to the chambers and you fight him. Who knows. We just have to wait :rock:

Anyways they just look like tubes protectrons would be in, and I wouldn't doubt that protectrons would be placed there to protect the missle so it could be used, too bad weather experiments stopped that.

If I remember one of the devs said it would be an unexpected relationship, so I am clueless. With the ED-E thing, I got a nice silly idea. Maybe there fathers were in the Enclave, Ulysses doesn't seem too old so I doubt he would have been in it. There fathers were good friends and when the Chosen One was like, pow pow pow, there was a secret base at the Divide which was used in case of emergencies. They decided not to use the missle for whatever reason and maybe made a nice little settlement, The divide said "no u" and devastated a lot of it. There were small amounts of people left inclusing you and him. So life long friends Ulysses trusted you, but you betrayed him so maybe the courier did something or didn't do something. You had and have the knowledge to save the divide, but you decicded yo leave and save yourself. Ulysses has been trying to find you since, and then on the Mojave mailman service thing he decided to set up an ambush, but Benny got to you first. While he was searching for you for revenge he was also finding ways to help the divide. Now he has an oppurtunity to see what your know before he takes revenge.

Just a mention: This is a stupid idea I just came up with in moments of seeing this.
