Force fields : Fallout: New Vegas

Does the sonic emitter work in the Mojave? Or maybe in Dead Money?
Don't know if this has been asked, I check this on my phone so its hard.

I'm not sure if you're going to be able to find force fields outside of the Big Empty. So no. :ninja:

No. They only work within Big Mt. :yes:

Yes it only works in the Big MT. I tried it out on the Armors in the Remnants Bunker and it didn't work :sadvaultboy:

I tried it on the forcefield in the securitron test chamber where they show off their updated weaponary, no joy there.

They only work in Big Mt, and the reason is that the sonic emitters and the forcefields there are set specifically to work on each others frequency.

Makes sense. Thanks for everyone's input. I just thought of a few places, (Helios One, Remnants Bunker, General Oliver's and the Vault in DM) but haven't found the time to test it.

Its a special script that only applies to the Big MT shields, it won't work outside the Big MT.

Hypno-theoretically? Do you mean hypothetically? Or are you trying to tell us that we have better ideas when we're under hypnosis? I'm confused.
