How do you disable a Force Field in OWB? From reading the Wiki I have the Sonic Emitter- Revelation. I use it to fire at the force field and nothing is happening. I am trying to complete a quest that makes you go in the X-12 building but I can't get past the Force Fields even though the enemies were able to go through but I was able to kill them.

So how do I disable the force fields with this gun?

in the highschool part of owb when you first go in their should be a terminal that allows you to uppgrade it to take down force fields

I have completed the quest, but now I can't get out of X-8. It says I need a key. I was in there before doing a different quest, and now this is my 2nd time in there. How do I get out? I tried both exits and they both say I need a key.

So what is this key so I can get out?

@Davor: upgrading the Sonic Emitter is exactly what needs to happen. You do that by doing the second (advanced) infiltration of the high school. The upgrade station will be in the entry room when you first start the advanced mission. {edit due to Davor's reply} - it's not a key you need. You need to advance the questline to the point where those doors unlock.

MarStinson is correct. The key was completing a questline. Weird thing is I already did the quest to download the 3 kids school records, so I had to do it a 2nd time to advance it forward.
