I'm doing "One for My Baby"

I've got the note in the safe but I can't talk to Boone about it nor can I get Carla to follow me.


Is this buged or what?

You can't talk to Boone until after he takes the shot, you simply lead the person in front of the dino while wearing the beret. When Boone shoots the person the quest will tell you to go talk to him. Carla is his dead wife and it would be very strange if she did follow you, I'm assuming you mean Jeannie. There is a bug where you won't get the talk option to make her go in front of the dino. The best way to fix is this is to talk to her outside when she leaves around midnight, if this doesn't work then exit and re-enter the area(either the lobby or her house).
