Hello , my name is " X " , and I'm a Skyrim addict .

Post » Sat Sep 03, 2011 1:00 am

I check the forums every day , bombard my wife about it ( God love her ) , talk to myself about the game , day dream about my ' yet to be ' adventures . I feel a need to by a new system for the game so as not to taint its " purity " with unworthy hardware , ( no 360 jokes please ) .
The next 2 months are going to be brutal . Withdrawing from something I haven't even had yet , sweet sweet skooma ....
Anyway , whats your name and why are you So addicted to the greatest game ever created by man ?

It's the same case with me, except I'm 15, so I'm not married, so just replace wife with every person I make contact with. X)

I once had a dream where I was talking to a woman in Skyrim. My brother and I had a fight(in the dream) weather or not it was a redguard.

Yep, I'm the same way. Check the forums every day, read most of the articles ect. I even had a dream about it.

I'm forty one but I'm single. If I were married I would find solace in six. Lots and lots of six.

I check the forum every day. Before work, after work, sometimes on my cell phone at work when I'm on break... Constantly looking for news. I feel like such a loser.

Insomniac.
Check Multiple times a day AND night.
Got laid off and am dreading getting a job.
I mean, it's two months away...
But if I get a Job it's less play time...
Hopefully I get this gig throwing parties.
Plenty of time to just be on the phone and play.
:P

I'm Tarvu; and I'm a Skyrim(hol)ic.

I'm off work for about six weeks over Christmas. Unpaid. I know I should find something else for at least a month or so during the holidays but I'm so tempted not to. I'll be able to play Skyrim pretty much 24/7! Pinch me!

If I start saving up now I'll probably have enough to tide me over, but the trouble is there's all those other great games coming out in the meantime.

What's a lazy, gameaholic bum to do? :sadvaultboy:

My friend works with a Charity throwing parties all over the world.
He's trying to get me a job there.
If I do its working from home setting up meetings for people and whatnot for great pay.
But it would allow me to play sooo much, and still make money.
BUT, I'm tired of being broke. :'(
Money or More Skyrim..
Darn hard choice...

I guess if you've got an oppotunity you should take it. I'm a minimum wage earner so it's not like I'll be missing out on any big bucks.

Yeah long time TES addict here going back to TES 1 Arena, as soon as I heard about Skyrim coming out this year I flipped out with excitement and felt the need for everyone to know about it, most just look at me blankly and nod in sympathy ;)

I go over and over in my mind what sort of charachter I will make first, what he will look like, what race, even his background! Then I think about the exploration, coming across rare artifacts and weapons and meeting interesting charachters!

Hell yes I am an Skyrim Addict, guilty as charged! :tes:

I have to wait to see if I can even get a foot in the door.
If not...
I'm probably back to delivering pizza.
We shall see.
Until then I'll be here every day.

i am curious... what did you mean by that? unworthy hardware?

...eh

i'd much rather play games... they're less dangerous/risky, and you can turn them on/off anytime you want without consequences.

A few times I told my best bud about Skyrim and he was , " Uh huh .... yeah .... sounds cool .... modern warfare 3 .. blah blah .. " . But gotta brake his and my other buddys hearts when I tell them they won't see me there till Jan at the earliest . And as it is if I keep the job I have I'll be taking a four day weekend at launch , but been trying for a new job and afraid if I get it I'll have to wait that much longer ... I'm so afflicted lol

Same thing here. I already made a plan to do almost all of my uni work of 11 November -- 11 December in the two weeks before Skyrim's launch. What I don't get done I won't do at all, hehe. In that month I'll skip every hearing college and play as much Skyrim as I can. I don't know yet what I'll do after that month, or what state I'll be in... Better not think about it.
