Extreme Stuttering

Hi,

I have a problem with extreme stuttering in Fallout: New Vegas. It stems from an engine issue existing in Oblivion, Fallout 3, and a Fallout: New Vegas. It results in a stutter every second when the engine drops frames at the end of search second. The issue is prevalent enough that a mod exists for the script extender for each of these games to removes the stutter. This mod runs a script which changes the engine's thread scheduler to ensure that no frames are not rendered more than once per 1/60th of a second resulting in no dropped frames and thus no stutter. Unfortunately the moder is no longer updating the modification and therefore Fallout: New Vegas has been rendered unplayable for me. Does bethesda plan on acknowledging/investigating/fixing this issue? My only solution would be to revert to an older version of New Vegas, but since the game is a Steamworks title, I am unable to launch the game without Steam updating it to the latest version. I am hesitant to purchase Skryim when it releases should this bug continue. Has anyone here experienced similar issues and found a solution?

Thanks for your support.

Who do you think you have addressed your comment to? Read the description of the place. There's no one here with knowledge of what Bethesda may or may not do.
