Watch that video. Id love to do something like that IRL but for some reason I know I cant. Id love to hunt a boar in game, spitroast them and sit round the fire at night, sitting on a log or something, talking with my companion whilst the dog chews away at a bone near the fire.

Eating the food would give us temporary bonuses (That last for like an hour real time or something because we sat around a fire for so long)

You can get this feeling in MMOs if you are out questing in the wilderness with a group. Some give incentives to camp and restore your health etc. Otherwise maybe sing "My Rifle My Pony and Me" like Dean Martin every time you camp in Skyrim (especially if you are a bronie).

I love the idea of sitting by a campfire, but not the idea of skewering a boar

Would love it. DA:O did it pretty good but there wasnt enough dialogue and everything was between one companion and the player. There shouldve been some stuff where the whole party was involved. We dont have that option in Skyrim though since theres only one companion but even some campfire stuff would be great. Talking, stories, playing instruments, eating etc.

This sounds like it'd actually be pretty cool. It'd undoubtedly up the immersiveness.

While we're on this sort of topic, I always though fishing would be nice, rather than diving in and stabbing a slaughterfish to death. (or you could always fus-ro-dah them out of the water I suppose)
