What would make the best post game DLC

Post » Sun Sep 04, 2011 9:43 pm

im sure this has been discussed but im not going through all 400+ pages to find it. so if there were to be a post game dlc what would you like to see. imo i would like to see the failure, or success, of caesar draw in the legion from the east as boone even says that intelligence suggests that the caesar we see wasnt even really running the true legion anymore. i would like to see his succesor either come to reap the benefits or start a propaganda war over the loss of the first caesar forcing ncr to make yet another stand or even for them to push west where they encounter the new leadership of the legion. also i know some people think that the enclave has been done to death but with word of either the legions success or the ncr success i would like to think that they would use the oppourtunity of a weakend ncr in the wasteland to get revenge. i say a weakened ncr because wether they win or lose a battle of that magnitude they take heavy losses maybe even a short hand alliance between legion and enclave, especially if bos helped ncr, in order to wipe out all west coast opposition.

There won't be a post game DLC by Obsidian. I guarantee you that there will be a mod that does that on PC and perhaps Obsidian may buy the mod rights from the mod team but until then, there won't be a post game DLC. But for the mod, it'll probably include all 4 main endings.

All I say in these discussions: If it involves the Enclave, I'm cool with it.

The best post game DLC for me would be that makes all possible ending slides shown at the end actually take place and open up new possible quests (or not depending on how things got solved). But as stated by Obsidian already they aren't doing any DLC of that kind.

They wouldn't need to. Bethesda owns all mod content.

There wont be a post-game DLC. I don't see the point in threads that discuss it. If I absolutely had to have a DLC like that, it'd have something to do with beating back the shattered Legion Remnants after a decisive battle at Hoover Dam. Done, of course, with the help of the mighty NCR. ( Sound familiar? )

it doesnt matter if obsidian is going to do you even discussing it on the forums puts ideas into mod masters heads and with any luck maybe bethesda will the see the success from doing it in fo3 and take it on themselves, plus they could stand make a serious profit depending on size and content. i also agree that a post game dlc shouldnt force to choose one ending it should be accessible after beating the game in any faction.

A post-game DLC that I would buy?

An official tried & tested Turn Based ISO 3D combat mod that implements the combat mechanics of Fallout: Tactics and adds point & click navigation to the entire game. :chaos:
