So I have taken a long break from New Vegas and I am ready to start playing again. I like to create detailed backstories for my characters which explain motivations and helps define how I role-play them within the game. However, the possibility of Lonesome Road offering a backstory for the Courier that is in conflict with the one I have already established complicates things.

Should I wait for LR and start a new character, or just keep going and see if I can reconcile my Couriers backstory with the revelations offered in LR?

If LR is difficult and you start a character when its released and you find it oo hard to complete then you will have to wait awhile to level up.

Personally I don't think LR will deliver info on the Courier's past, I think it'd just mention his/her relationship with Ulysses. :no:

Might as well restart,you have plenty of time.I put my courier into suspended animation until the release of LR.Trouble is, I forgot where I left off.

I think by explaining the relationship, we're gonna find out about The Courier's past.

I meant I believe the only part of the Courier's past that will be revealed is his/her relationship with Ulysses, we wont find out stuff like where he/she was born, favourite colour, families... :rolleyes:
