And also when you talk to a random person you have the option to type what you want to say.

Uhm, consoles? Some thoughts should be thought more than once ;) For the rest, sure, why not? And bend over to pickup a flower or enter a dead characters inventory. Tiresome? Probably, but would make telekinesis more useful where you could skip that part.

Dragons and magic = realistic. Okey dokey.

Uhm, yeah. In a fantasy world filled with dragons and magic, I'd say dragons and magic would be realistic. Same would resting, eating, and drinking requirements - as the world is filled with these items. The AI is already performing these tasks in Oblivion, why shouldn't we? I hate being forced to imagine things, I always forget! :banghead:

Typing what you want and them actually being able to respond is almost impossible. Would take years and years to program something like that. This thread is a little ridiculous if you ask me.

If I will ever want to see myself eating in real time - I'll fast travel to the fridge, thanks.

I have a better idea: You can equip food like a weapon and when you hit the use button, your character takes a bite. Then you can equip two food items in each hand

when you are sitting down and you eat something from they should put like a video or something showing you eating or drinking whatever you got also if there is something on the table you have the option to get it or eat it and the same if you chose to eat it you can see yourself eating or drinking it in 1st or 3rd person view. And also when you talk to a random person you have the option to type what you want to say.

Simple dialogue is fine, typing wha you want to say would never work.

I don't see the typing happening anytime soon. In the future, perhaps you can simply talk and the game will put your words up and the AI will respond properly. . . but that is FAR and AWAY.

All the animations you mention are good though. Sometimes in Oblivion if you sat around long enough the game would auto animate you eating or drinking, so hopefully this time, when in third person, it will do that for active decisions.

Drinking and eating animations don't have to force you to watch them, they could just cut out as soon as you move, and as for the menu it wouldn't take you out just do the last animation for the potion or food you chose.

Do you know how much dialogue they would have to record for every NPC for that to work? There's no chance that will happen.
