How long after release of Skyrim? : Fallout Series Discussion

Just wondering how long after the release of Skyrim should we be exspecting Fallout 4 info? How soon is too soon, and late is waaayyyy too late?

It'd be great if they gave us news with a pamphlet in the Skyrim case but this is just wishful thinking.

Going by New Vegas and Skyrim being announced about a year before release, we might not hear of it for a long time. Personally, I hope they give us an announcement and the basic idea of what they're doing (setting and goals) early on in development so fans can give more specific suggestions that can strengthen development.
