Anti- NCR and Legion

Does anyone play as a revolutionary who is opposed to both factions? Becoming vilified by both and fighting off both groups who track you down through out the Mojave?

Does that not happen when you side with yes man? Either way just less quests to do/ more loot.

Yes and no. When I side with Yes Man, I tend to keep the NCR happy with me right up until it's too late. They don't usually hate me until I'm already down inside Hoover Dam.

I oppose the Legion every time I play, and destroy them sooner or later.
The NCR, well, I never help them take over the Mojave but I often do quests for them to ease the lives of their folks. I feel sympathy for the common soldiers and civilians, but readily destroy their leadership. Colonel and up, I work to eliminate.

Yea. Me too. I find that helping them until the second battle if Hoover Dam works considerably well. I always go for the Independent New Vegas ending, but like to be friendly with the NCR up until the battle. I guess that kinda makes me a back-stabber, huh? Oh well. "Free the people" and all that.

"Soldiers!"
"We must resist the tyranny of these invaders!"
"We must rise up!"
"The oppressers must die!"
"Down with NCR,Down with the Legion!"

"ONE VISION!" "ONE PURPOSE!"

I tend to want to keep the NCR happy, as they're the best source of quests, but my current character is disgusted by just how inept their leadership is (she's an ex-soldier turned merc, who deserted after being passed up for command in favor of an imbecile) and is growing steadily more irritated at how they all seem to need her help. She does it anyway because they pay well, but before too long she's going to snap and start taking them out. She'll be going Independent, so that she can show them what happens when you actually get things done. The fact that that means they'll get driven out doesn't bother her in the least, the way she sees it she'll be doing her ex line-mates a favor by getting them out of that scorched hellhole.

Covertly. My latest playthrough I've stayed on both factions good sides until a certain point. I basically did the quest where you destroy the monorail but did it to further my own goals, killing the inside man of McCarren after completing the quest. I go AWOL from the Legion after that, and they get pissed once they determine that I'm not helping them. Especially when they find that their Frumentarii that they sent to inform me about supply caches never returns and their supply caches are empty.
