What sort of mods stress the cpu?

I've gotten tired of random crashes so I've started doing a cpu stress test of sorts. I start outside anvil and use a spell that gives me max speed and fly around going from landmark to landmark to see how long it takes till it crashes. With all my mods enabled it only takes a couple minutes. I disabled about half of them and it never crashed. I'm trying to find a balance between stability and good mods, but leaning toward stability. Basically I want as much mods as I can without a fear of crashing. I've been using Oblivon XP, disabling that helped. I also disabled the all natural weather mod, that helped as well. What are the other kinds of mods that are cpu heavy/would react poorly to flying around cyrodiil at high speed?

Script intensive mods, texture packs, sound mods (if you have onboard sound, or, a sound card that is NOT hardware accelerated...) But, it isn't just any one thing.... it is all of them taken as a whole. I run over a hundred mods, including texture replacers, and RAEVWD (a real framerate killer...) and get acceptable performance just about everywhere. Even IC waterfront.

Also, the game wasn't exactly designed to be loading 15 cells every 5 seconds. I'm not surprised you crash high speed running everywhere.

I've been using RAEVWD and it's awesome. I haven't been using Qarl's but I've been using one called detailed terrain by Zeroed. I had problems at the waterfront, but I took out better cities and it's playable now.

No, it's not made to run around quickly, but it's still fun, and I figure if the game can withstand that sort of load, then I'm probably pretty safe with normal play to not worry about crashes. Either way, I may not make drastic changes, but I think I'll use something other than Oblivon XP, I've heard good things about stuff like ngcd/progress/realistic leveling, I'll have to look into those. I might try to replace all natural with something simpler, just pick one of the three that it was based on. I might even consider replacing ooo with tie if it's a lot more lightweight and still fun, we'll see.
