When I am in TES4Gecko and click OK to merge mods after choosing priority, it momentarily pops up the screen asking me what to save the file as. Then my computer bluescreens. Once it bluescreened from just opening Gecko, but all the other times it has been after choosing priority.
I'm running a fully up to date Windows XP, latest version of Java, and yes I've used the increased heap size argument for Gecko. Wondering if I somehow made some obscure mistake in my shortcut creation process, I tried launching it from Wrye Bash instead, but no change.
My system has enough RAM to allocate the specified heap size, but just in case I tried dropping the heap size argument to Gecko. No change.
In case it's relevant, I'm currently trying to make a merged (and later modified) version of Enhanced Water HDMI, Koldorn's Lava, and Realistic Water. These mods are small enough that I can merge using TES4Edit if really necessary, but I anticipate needing to merge larger mods later on when I run into the ESP limit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated .
Edit: Oops, forgot to mention but I'm using Gecko v15.2 (the latest version). I saw some comments about reverting to older versions, but it sounds like that's a workaround for 64-bit and/or UAC issues?
