Dunmer City

Empire is split into two sides, there's racial tensions, Argonians took over Morrowind.... Skyrim's gonna be angry. Maybe TES:VI will be about war. Every Race for themselves.

I thought that skyrim was actually helping Argonians, according to the rumors in Oblivion. I might be wrong about that though

Winterhold is also where the Mage faction is, which is weird because Winterhold isn't a major city is it?The five major cities are Windhelm, Whiterun, Markarth, Riften, and Solitude, are they not?Did they add Winterhold as a major city or are they just trying to pack too much into a minor town?

It will probably be something of a hybrid. A MAJOR village/fort or a minor city. Something perhaps like The Arcane University, but entirely isolated rather than connected by a bridge to a major city. Or, if it is open, it could be like a couple of the larger villages of Oblivion put together and centered around a tower.

I hope there is some Dunmer-Argonian tension :flamethrower:

Ill have one of my dunmer marry an argonian noble or vice versa

that'll cool that Dunmer-Argonian tension.

Wait...

So after they're main region was destroyed by a volcano and raided by Argonians, there were even enough refugees that went to Skyrim to take control of a city.

Well, I know what my Nords and Argonians are doing first.

I'm putting my money on Kynesgrove.

-its in the volcanic tundra (like morrowind)
-its located on the eastern edge of the map near morrowind
-its located south of Windhelm, which is the major trading route into Morrowind--it would be a good "slum" for the city I guess.

I though it was those, except Winterhold instead of Markarth Side.

That wouldn't make sense to me, have you seen Markarth? It's tremendous, too large to be a minor town.Although as a sidenote the minor towns are larger than they were in Oblivion, if you saw the Quakecon leak, you'd notice just how large Riverwood is considering it's a minor town, it was actually as big as most of the major cities in Oblivion, minus the Imperial city.

Old info is old info. We know that Whiterun and a few other Citys gets its Influence from the Dunmer and Dwemer culture.

Wizards in towers is getting kind of cliche, I'm hoping for something a little more unique, personally.Something in a different plane of existence would be nice.

Cliche`s often become that way because they work, make sense or have truth to them. Warriors with swords could be cliche`, but. . . I will say this though, in regard to your notion. . . I would LOVE it if the Archmages citadel, or tower or whatever DID have gates to Oblivion hidden in its deepest catacombs, or in the highest room of its highest tower.
