most of them know. But not because I'm embarrassed or anything. All my family know.

My dad knows how to play Daggerfall. He's expressed interest in the newer games, and always said "I need to sit down and play these ones." But he has never really taken the initiative to do so. Arena is one he hasn't played, but judging from the fact that the controls aren't that much different, I'm sure I could get him playing that one as well.

Why would all my friends play TES too? That's not realistic.

Well then don't select that option if it doesn't apply to you.

Polls have to cover a wide range of answers.

It's not just going to say "some" or "most."

I'm married into a family of gamers, and my own family plays too. My father-in-law has all the games back to Daggerfall at his computer desk, and Arena is only missing because it's lost in storage somewhere. My wife gets TES on her PC, while I play on the console and get the big TV.

When family game night is more often than not a one-shot D&D/RPG module, TES is right out in the open.

My friends know I play games, but not that I play TES.

Its not that Im embarrassed, its just that my friends only care about Fifa, CoD, WoW and Counterstrike, so if we even do talk about games, itl be about those, even though out of those I only play counterstrike.

Most of my friends know I like TES series, and only some of my family know I play it.

I still don't see the reason for people to hide the fact that they like to have fun playing videogames.
Are they naive enough to think the only 'good' way of having fun is getting drunk at a party and waking up next to a random person?

I mean, that IS fun (and kinda creepy, sometimes.), but nowhere near as fun as a game  .

One of my friends calls Oblivion and Morrowind "the walking game", because I'm always walking when he sees me playing it.

I have 2 friend I know that play TES games and we talk about it when appropriate. My family couldn't care less about the games I play lol. And my other friends aren't as hardcoe gamers as my other two friends so I just don't talk to them about games lol. Not that I hide it from them. honestly if I mention TES to those friends, they probably won't even know what I'm talking about haha.

My friends and family have learned, over the years, not to ask me about the game I am playing. They know I will tell them, enthusiastically, in escruciating detail.

Yes everyone knows I play TES. My family doesn't care because they are advlts and don't concern themselves with what their son likes and my friends like the series as much as I do. Are people being shunned for liking TES or something?
