I played a Wood Elf in Morrowind and Oblivion and loved it. I love the bow, sneak, dagger gameplay and Skyrim will be no different. However, Skyrim will be different for me this time around because I intend on role playing a Bosmer for my first time ever. To do this effectively I need to know more about these tree huggers. How do you play your Bosmer? What are their personalities like in TES? What do they hate? Who do they hate? Who do they love? etc.

Please no hating on Wood Elves in this topic :happy:

the only wood elf I am making is going to look like Link from Legend of Zelda series. (armorwise + weaponwise)

Edit: I also plan on making a Dark Elf (Dark Link) similar to SSB.

My wood elf is a Legolas looking Ranger, Loves the forest as well as the creatures.

My Bosmer is a Serial Killer from Cyrodiil who was Caught and sentenced to death for 102 Counts of Murder. He kills in a Cycle of 10: Each Race in Alphabetical Order. He uses Light Armor, Two One Handed Swords and also Carries a Bow and utilizes the Frenzy spell. He is a Hunter who grew bored of killing Small Prey and decided to kill People instead. He is not entirely Evil because he refuses to kill non-hostile people outside of his Cycles.

Im kinda stuck with wood elf, im trying to find a character from books, tv shows, movies, anything that would fit a wood elf (female) but i cant think of any x.x ~

Without a cannibalism perk this will be a little difficult.

I always feel funny when I go to third person and it's not a Bosmer I'm looking at.

I just hope that the NPC wood elves aren't annoying little bastards this time 'round.

I could never play a bosmer in MW cos of the goofy yelp they make when they get hit.

I use them for stealth and archery, their shortness helps them stay hidden. The're also great at illusion magic. I read in "A Guide to the Empire" (a real book, not in the games) that Bosmer are very wary of any race other than their own. And whenever I play Morrowind, everyone seems to be really racist towards me. Even the beast people.

The NPC wood elves REALLY piss me off, I hope they do a better job this time.

Let's see... when I played Morrowind, my Bosmer first became a werewolf, then went and killed Dagoth Ur and saved the province, and now she's stuck on Tribunal. :banghead:

The wood elves were pretty badass (or realistic) in A Dance in the Fire, that gamebook. They drink beer-milk, shoot mansized carnivorous insects, and eat silly people who lie to their telepathic king!

Gamewise, i'm happy marksmanship got buffed again. I played a witchhunter in earlier games. Snipe if hidden, summon a tank if in a brawl. Arrows might actually kill, instead of leaving angry pincushions.

My first character in OB was a bosmer. Since all the bosmer NPC's were annoying little runts, my character began to hate his own race....They look pretty badass from what we saw with the presets though

You guys are failing to understand his question. He wants to know about the Lore behind the Wood Elves and their mannerisms... He didn't ask what your Bosmer will look like.
