Amiki's Clothing/Accessories Thread

Post » Thu Sep 08, 2011 1:44 pm

The ultimate clothing poll! Vote for each item you'd like to accessorise your character with! Yay!

:cake:

Some clothing items were kept generic due to the huge amount of variation that can be found within (e.g. dresses), and I can't wrap my head around all the possibilities :(.

If you have a specific desire/style, or if I missed something strikingly obvious, let everyone know in the thread and I might add it to the poll! :)

By the way, clothing doesn't include armour (e.g Gambesons, Brigandines, Byrnies, etc.).

Also you forgot eyewear. Or I missed it.

"Stop right there, criminal scum!"

"No, it's a cardigan -- thanks for noticing!"

Never you mind my disparate voting methods. My characters simply won't wear pants. Really, I voted for the ones I would really like to see, not the ones that will most likely be included (boots, trousers, etc.).

What I would really REALLY like to see are masks/bandanas that cover the lower half of the face.

Not sure if goggles, glasses, or sunglasses could be considered canon in Skyrim?

A lore purist will have to get back to me on that one

Being all for options, I've voted on EVERYTHING!

But personally, I'm most interested in gowns, dresses, hats, bonnets, shoes, all sorts of jewellery and everything from part three of the poll.

Or in other words: EVERYTHING ^^

But I think I will walk naked with just a Todd Howard mask around Riften.

Very full poll :tops:
Only things I didn't vote for were those that seemed too modern like tights and blazers
Oh, and I didn't vote for socks and cardigans. Would be like the hero having patches on the elbows of his jacket, so unheroic

Oh, I forgot suspenders , and dress-shirt is too generic now that I think of it... it merges well with 'shirt'.. so... I'll replace it!

Revote if it really bothers you :celebrate:

By suspenders do you mean braces since you already have garters in the poll?

I reaaallly want Trubans. I loves me a turban.

But alas, for some reason they carry negative stigma stateside so we'll probably never see them.

Yes

I use 'garter' to refer to braces that specifically hold up stockings, though. I guess they're the same thing?!

Also, does everyone have to vote on something for each category? Or should I have left a "I don't want any of these!" option for all four...

Damn, ten minutes of typing then 'Safari can't find the server.' Try again, these threads get the Zen seal of approval every time.

More non armour stuff for mages a must, gloves boots, hats, you can never have too many hats. Tiara/laurels/circlets/whatever for that special Altmer lady in your life. Greater variety of robes. Most important : fingerless gloves for the beggars, the older townsfolk, and anyone who has to work in the cold. Oh yeah, and some attractive ( medievally attractive, not Cardiff on saturday night ) dresses, never understood the silk robes and separate clothes, but no silk dresses.

No capes for me though. Capes are for those who think rather too highly of themselves. You know, lute boys, and men with perms.

Hopefully a good modeller will come along and make everything. But it means twice the number of models if variety is to be achieved from the torso and legs...

Oh, yeah, more specific article. Still can't have an alter-ego as the Tan Cup Baron without a twirly moustache disguise, that just wouldn't be evil cricket.
