For the first time since Daggerfall we are actually going to playing in an area fully covered in a previous games (aka Arena). Now I know most Arena lore has been removed, but the pivetal point of its main quest in skyrim were the Fortress of Ice and Labyrinthian.

Now in Morrowind the Arena location we had access to was important to the story, aka Dagoth Ur. It was rewritten and fully fleshed out in the lore....raising it from just being a meaniless dungeon from the first game. I know there isnt a alot to go on here for speculation, Daggerfall didnt include the Crypt of Hearts, and in Arena the only place in Cyridil was the Imperial City.


So what do people think? Will these two Skyrim places play a part you think? or just be some interesting side quest.

Wasn't Arena in EVERY province?

I would definitely like if they included them. It'd be great if they could somehow incorporate places from the mobile games Dawnstar and Shadowkey as well.

Oh yes! i forgot about them.....Beth really ahs alot of pre-existing lore to build from when making Skyrim this time.....even in Morrowind there wasnt much for Vvardenfell.

Either that or they will take a hammer to it and smash the lore into itty bitty pieces.....again

Bugger, I can't imagine what a realistic reflection of light from ice would do to my frame rate...
