Need help with who dares wins quest

Post » Thu Sep 08, 2011 1:13 pm

So I talked to M.A.R.Go.T. who said that I need to get rid of the ghouls. So I went and killed every ghoul I could find. When i go back and talk to her she still says there is a threat and they can't fix the train. I've covered every inch of the tunnels and can't find any more ghouls. Does anybody know what the F to do?

When you get to the room with the train, there is a Sentrybot that inserts the fuse. If you killed him, the fuse should be on his body.

Yeah I see him walking around but he doesn't do anything and Margot still says the threat needs to be taken care of. But I don't see any ghouls around that are still alive. It's all most like a glitch in the quest.

You don't have to go back to Margot. Kill the bot and put the fuse into the fusebox next to the train. If that doesn't work, I can't help you. :sadvaultboy:

I was trying to avoid that since in the guide book it says that it's an option but you don't have to do that.

Double check the areas for any remaining ghouls (just to be sure, I've sworn on occasion that I've taken them all out and I find a random one just sitting in some off place). If there is none for sure, then it may be a glitch. In which case just kill the sentry bot and install it yourself, if that still doesn't work, then you might have to reload.

Don't know how much this will help. I've found a feral squatting in a collapsed room. The room has some minor loot. It can be difficult to get into it as you have to walk up wreckage. It is out of the way; wish I could tell you where it is. I haven't played that part in a while. It is in the first area where you find all the ghouls. It made no sense that it was squatting there while the rest were fighting the bots and my character.

Before posting this thread I did have two ghouls who were in a section of track behind a fence. Using the console command for free camera it looked like it was just a small section with no way to get to them. I was able to lob over two frag grenades between the fence and the ceiling killing them. But so far I can't find any others that are alive. Guess I'll have to try killing the robot. I do wonder if it's a glitch or a ghoul playing hide and seek.

Did some more looking and found a fallout wiki and on the quest page they say that there is a glitch that prevents the bots from advancing.
