I'm hoping that, if they do, add werewolves to the game every race will have a different look I'd love to see a werewolf with scales lol

When asked about werewolves they said "No comment" and laughed.
So they understand that people want it and its amusing that we ask about it so often? Do they think it such a silly idea that its not worth giving a serious answer? Do they have the werewolves in but want it to be something we find out on our own? Are the werewolves not in? If they are not then it seams a little mean to leave us hanging like this, unless they have big plans for them in an expansion. We were told not to look into their comment too much but its hard not to.

It just doesn't make sense to refuse to comment on a feature unless you have plans for it or if its in game and you want it a secret. If neither scenario is true then leaving us hanging just to disappoint us at launch then deny the feature in future expansions seems a little cruel.

My conclusion: I would say that either werewolves will be a part of skyrim or the developers have a mean streak.

Why a werewolf with scales?

I don't see scales on my werewolf in Morrowind :spotted owl:

Were-Wolf with scales= NO!
Were-Croc= Yes.

Also Argonians turned into normal Were-Wolves in Blood Moon, I doubt it will be different in Skyrim.

THis. I don't think werewolves can get the mange, so scales and fur probably won't happen. lol

Yeah... I'm by no means a lore buff, but I thought the whole point was that you turned into a wolfy type thing, not that the wolfy type thing adapted to your character?

I've always been a big proponent of this...I would love to see each race have their own 'look and feel' in regards to lycanthropy...

Yes. The disease is suppose to be increadibly powerful and warp you into another being entirely, even stronger than Coprus.

I used to think it was a 50% chance to change into a lycanthrope depending on your race and 50% turning into a wolf for all races. It would explain why more werewolves are rampant throughout Tamriel than any other type. I have no idea on were-sharks though. Or it could be entirely up to Hircine.

No it's because the creatures can prosper in that area and also there arn't Croc's in any region except Black Marsh so it wouldn't make sense to find one in HammerFell and everyone would know it's a were-beast.

I want my werewolf to glitter in the sunlight.

That'd be quite the clever touch if such werewolves had details attending to race. Easy to handwave a generic werewolf, though. A complete transformation to a wolfish creature, with the only humanoid remnant is its ability to walk on two feet. I'd be easier impressed if it copied the char-gen's build; the wimpy little frame of a breton witch becomes a scrappy little lycan.

As for never giving us comments, I don't mind a lack of teasers/spoilers. It's not like they haven't already hooked enough fans. Otherwise, I'd think getting it to work deserves enough attention before saying "Totally in"

IIRC there was a comment in answer to werewolves about asking the interviewer to stop trying to spoil the game...
