I know that the DLC's will come out first for the 360's but how are they downloaded?
Is it over Xbox LIVE? what if we don't have Xbox Live?

Well they will definitely be able to be downloaded over XBox Live, as that is the direction all DLC is going right now. No word if they will be available on disc that I've seen.

More likely than not any purchasable disk won't be available immediatley. The content will be there at or close to the morning of it's release on xbox live. Hopefully with their exclusivity deal, and the size of a title like Skyrim, they'll make the disks in time for release, like some FPS content. I don't want to see a card for it either, let me get the disk at the store, or I'll get it online my own self. I think i saw that with Fable.

The content will be downloadable via Xbox LIVE first. As noted, the game add-ons are exclusive to Xbox for 30 days -- so they can come to PSN & Steam after that.

Beyond that, we haven't announced what the first two DLCs will be, or when they will come out. Right now the team is focused on finalizing Skyrim.

As soon as there's info to share, we'll definitely share it with everybody.

It seems most DLC are downloaded through Live (hence the name, DLC). But I'm sure if it makes GOTY, the expansions will be released on disk similar to OB and FO3; combining two or three DLC onto a disc to buy at a store.

Um you wont be getting it with out Live at that time plain and simple its essential.
Of course expansions will come out later on.

Isn't there a "free" level of Live membership, that lets you use the store? (Silver, maybe?)

I know you don't need the pay membership to use the PSN store....

edit: of course, if your XBox isn't hooked up to the net at all, that would be a problem :tongue:
