Hello every one! I tried to get back into Morrowind recently, however, when I do, the game just flickers to a black screen for about 2-3 seconds, and comes back to the game and does it again like 10 seconds later. I have had this problem before both on Oblivion and Morrowind, and when that usually happens, the flickering becomes so unbearable, that i had to quit. I tried running the game with V-Sync on and off, changing the resolution, and trying the game without mods. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Me thinks its something wrong with my Graphics card, but I want someone's opinion on this. Thank you!

My specs are as followed:

Video Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 460m

Processor: Intel Core I7 Q740 @1.73 GHz (8cpus) ~ 1.7 GHz

Memory: 8 Gigs of RAM

Your card shouldn't be the issue, that's not a bad card and is easily enough to run MW (assuming it's the mobile version of the regular 460).

Flickering to a black screen when the game starts is normal, but is this in-game? Does it happen if you run in windowed mode?

No it doesn't do the flickering in window mode. That is good news. . While I will play this game in windows, anyone know a solution to the flickering in the full screen mode by chance? or perhaps a window mode that takes up the whole screen? If not thank you .

Edit: And yeah, it happens when I am in game.
