Lost Skills

Post » Mon Sep 12, 2011 11:00 am

I just noticed after fighting a group of goblin warlocks that my some of my skills have been seriously lowered. It might have happened before that.
The skills are all listed as blue. I checked my current effects, last tab in the magic tab, and I have no listed negative spells or diseases, or anything.
This is really strange. I went to a healing alter several times. I also rested and slept for many days and no change. Anyone know whats up?

Thanks.

Is this vanilla or are you running any mods?

Then if I was you, I'd head on over to the mod section and ask for help. Make sure you post your load order over there also. Most here in general either run very few mods or vanilla game.

Can I get a moderator to move this to mods perhaps? Thanks.

Errrrr, I don't run any of the mods you have except for chapel shop and the UFO. Um, your LO looks a bit wonky, but I'm not an expert on that, I let BOSS do it and go about my business. My first reaction to your problem though is those enchantment mods you have going. Take off all your equipment if you haven't already and check your stats.

I see Pseron Wyrd on, maybe he'll pop in he's much better at this stuff.

No, actually, you're doing better than I can, I'm drawing a blank. But wait! I see King Coin on, maybe he'll pop in. ...

DOH! I gave away my stalker type behavior!

I stalked King Coin last night :teehee:

oldplayer ~ I'm at a loss. I thought there was a reset stats spell offered by the UOP, but I'm not seeing it at the moment in my game. Which makes me think of a problem I'm having ... hmmm how come SI didn't fire off.

Just thought of something. I did a recent "showracemenu" and edited my face and hair, but I know I pressed save game before I exit the edit. Maybe something went wrong.

I'm guessing you meant listed as Red and not Blue because Blue = normal. Red = damaged, Green = buffed.

I don't see anything with your mods either, though some mods behave strangely together. I have a clothing mod and an injury mod that I have to be careful with.

I'll bet that did it. If everything is blue like you said first then that's it.

oldplayer ... the UOP should have given you a menu that you access through the misc section of your inventory, I think. Activate that then close your inventory. UOP's menu should come up then and there's a player stat fix in there. click on it and see if it helps. I doubt it would help if you buggered up your save with a showracemenu thing. But on the odd chance it's something else, might want to give it a try.

If everything is blue then the stats aren't damaged by anything.

You can use the console to set everything back to where it should be if you are sure that it was the racemenu.

Tried the patch in game tool and it told me nothing has been changed. I will reset my Attributes and Skills via the CC. Thanks!

Agree. Will use CC to fix this.

Is it to late to use a mod organizer? Thanks!

Are you asking about something like BOSS? never too late to use it! Just DL and install (I think it comes as an .exe file) and run it. It'll put things in the best order.

Choose the installer version.

Much obliged. Yes, BOSS. It's gonna take me a little while to catch up with OB...LOL. I've been playing MW since inception. OB is very new to me. Thanks again!
