For a long time now, I've had all the requirements to make weapon repair kits, meaning all of the ingredients as well as the skill requirement, but the option to make them is still greyed out at the workbench. I think maybe once or twice, the game has actually allowed me to make one in the couple hundred hours or so that I've logged on my character. This is frustrating, because it means I can't afford to use any rare weapons because I have no way of repairing them. The only thing that has slightly mitigated this was taking the jury-rigging perk. And it's very rare to find a repair kit, so being unable to make them is frustrating.

With a recent DLC or patch, I noticed the addition of the gecko armors, so I set out to make that, but when I grabbed the reinforced leather armor and other necessary ingredients, I found that the option for that was also remaining greyed out, despite all of the listed requirements being met. It's possible there are other recipes with the same issue that I haven't noticed yet.

So yeah, what's up with that?
