Ok one way to boost his disposition by an extra 10 points is to talk to him with your weapon drawn, persuede him up to max, exit dialogue sheath your weapon then talk again.
His disposition should be 10 points higher than before.

As for charm, have you tried ranged and touch versions as sometimes I've had trouble with the spell taking effect, and don't forget use several versions of charm spells.
Don't just cast the same one over as it won't stack if you just recast the same spell multipule times.

You can't update it. The only way to get shivering isles on the PS3 is through the GOTY edition. You already have KOTN as that comes as standard on PS3.

For vampire dungeons I would say just use the potion once every vampire is dusted.
Otherwise you'll waste those potions on a very infectious but not very nasty disease, so just kill the vamps exit the dungeon then use the cure potion imo.

I like the thieves guild, if you plan on being a sneak I suggest you mark a cave on your map early, that is the one across the water from the waterfront district..
Just swim north west from the house you can buy there, it wlll be on the opposite shore called Droznot cave I think.
As it's of use when you need to pay a fine off, just fast travel there and head to the doyen by passing any guard.

Hi, I'm on a pc so unfortunatly I have no clue about the ps3 sorry.

About the cave, it's of no use except to fast travel to when you have a bounty on your head, as then you can swim to the waterfront to see the doyen there without running into guards along the way, I just find it a convenient place to know.
I should have been clearer sorry again.

Shivering Isle is started after playing the game for X amount of hours, just play untill a pop up tells you about a door off the coast of Bravil city in the Nibean.

Knights of the Nine, you need to head to Anvil city to find a preacher outside of the church there.
There's no pop up for this quest at first but if you talk to any priest in a city the topic should show up about a chapel attack.

When you get the GOTY, you will be able to use your old saves from the pre-GOTY version. You will receive a message about a Strange Door, approximately 24 hours after installing the expansion. If you make a save right before opening the door to the sewers to go outside, you can create new characters from that hard save, without having to go through the tutorial yet again.

Using punctuation will make it easier for us to understand your questions. :)

All I can suggest without knowing your skills, level and character is to turn the difficulty down a bit untill you feel relaxed enough to carry on playing..
I did this for ages as Oblivion has so many tricks and secrets to gameplay it can be overwhelming, so just relax and turn the difficulty down untill you're familiar with the game and character.

In any of the Oblivion worlds where a door is locked, there will be a Dremora Sigil Keeper who has the key. You don't ever have to pick a lock in an Oblivion world, that's just an alternative option for those who can't kill the Dremora. Keys fit the locks, so you have to get the one in that specific world.
