After a long walk in the Mojave and a bunch of quests completed I decided to return to Lucky 38 to clean up my inventory and that of my companions, placing unique weapons recovered in the box in front of my bed, food and drinks I don't need in the fridges, see what I can sell, if I can create a few repair kits and so on ...
But I noticed that I'm getting a little too much quest items which are impossible to drop, they weigh nothing but take up space in my inventory and it's a little annoying.
Also I know that some objects don't have a model for them, in this case it should be possible if not to drop them to place them in a container in order to get rid of them, or completely removed.
Here are some of the objects in question:
- The "Codac R9000" : Given by Michael Angelo in the "Classic Inspiration" quest.
- a "Food Additive" found in Vault 22. It stays in inventory after completing the "Poor Meat Never Makes Good Soup" quest.
- The "Disassembled weapons shipment" which I found only after completing the "How Little We Know" quest.
- "Container of Chlorine" which I bought at Mick & Ralph if I remember well. Was meant to be used during "How Little We Know" but I didn't have to the way I completed that quest.
- "Engraved Cigarette Lighter" - Used as evidence to get Benny out of his room. Should be droppable or removed once the quest is completed.
- "distinctive cigarette butt" - An other evidence to use against Benny.
There are certainly many more since I am still far from having completed all the quests.
I hardly think that something will be done about it but anyway just in case.
