Ridiculously low health weapons

Whats up with triBeam laser and multiplas rifles health?

50 HP? Are you kidding me? What does a person do who doesnt have jury rigging? Its extremely hard to find new ones to repair it with. Do the devs expect me to use dead money to get 1000 weapon repair kits?
And on top of that, forget using Max charged cells on these guns. Use 5 shots of Max charged cells on these guns, and they fall from 100% to below 80%.

Thank God Im on PC and dont have to face this stupidity. Does anyone know any mods that can change their health? Or is there any other way to increase their HP through console? I mean more than 50 HP, I know how to change a weapons health, but i dont want to use that everytime my weapons health falls too low. Id just increase the maximum limit once and then play it fair.

You can change their health in the GECK, each weapon has a data window that shows all of its stats, including HP. You can also change how quickly each shot degrades the weapon. To do the latter you check the box next to the Damage to Weapon Mult field under Override, and enter the value you wish to use; values >1 increase wear rate while values <1 decrease it.

Alter it in the GECK, download a mod that slows the health degrade down. Many possibilities.

Muliti-Plas and Tri-Beam weren't meant to be used as all purpose weapons. Oh and Bulk rounds instead of Max Charge. it works fine if you do it right.

When playing old world blues make your own weapon repair kits.

Only 50 repair needed and i made around 25 of them. Maybe the devs thought that Energy weapon users would have a high repair in the process? :turtle:

When you have a mini thermonuclear breakdown, every time you fire one of those things, it bares to reason that the integrity of the weapon will deplete rather quickly. Plan ahead an take JR. That or just use guns, which also benefit from that Perk. In short take JR with every build. It will also grant you with a bottomless pit of caps.
