i got an issue with fallout new vegas, after the update i guess. The game worked fine when i bought it on steam months ago. I thought nice a sales, but now im stuck with a game and 3 add ons that dont work.


so i use to play a happy camper for months and all of a sudden when i load the game it closes with un expected error, i dont know if it was after the update or not. But anyway i thought it would be a corrupt file in my save folder...nope re downloaded the game for the third time completely removing it twice, re downloading it ,?? not working.

i tried the cache thing it says its missing a file but it downloads nothing and i get no further info on this error ( what a surprise )


btw my computer works fine, every game works ok in steam except this one. its rly annoying how people have problems with this buggy game. basiclly i just wasted 30 euros on this and i have a right to complain.


and im sure many people got this issue with steam and fallout, but still they dont bring a correct patch out...sad rly..i feel ripped off by this game wanting my money back.

I feel for you. My game crashes a fair amount, more than I would like. I have to save ... a lot! Nice if there was a quick save feature but I have not found it. Have you tried loading the Fallout Mod Manager and reordering the DLC's? I have the base game as 01 ... then Dead Money as 02 ... etc. I reordered my DLC's and Mod's and I think it helped a bit. IMHO I think that Steam hiccups and drops your connection. Check you Firewall and set Steam to Ok.

i lost 40 hours of saved games also now so have to start all over again, honestly i dont know if i will bother fixing this stuff. just want to thank ber, company for giving me a horrible gaming experience.

This is for gamer to gamer tech problem discussion, not for crying, complaining, etc. You think you want your money back? Well *WE* surely don't have it in here! For that, you want the Official Bethesda Support site, not this unofficial forum.

weird im sure the topic says hardware and software issues but im obviously blind i guess? the official forum? lol registering on 3 forums now for a problem how awesome.
