What will you do in your first hours of Skyrim?

Post » Sun Sep 18, 2011 9:15 pm

I'll probably spend at least 1-2 hours in the CC making 5-6 different characters I want to play as to see how easy it is and what options I have, before making my main character, a redheaded female breton based off my MW character (and my username). Then doing what seems right for my character, probably loot all I can in the tutorial, then selling everything in Riverwood and buy gear that fits my character. Talk to some folks for sidequests, try my hand at crafting/alchemy, hitting up some local caves. Then maybe earn some money, find a lady to woo, then possibly some MQ.

I'll spend the first few hours of play-time wishing I was on the forums complaining.

Really, I will spend those first hours in character creation, and enjoying the scenery.

I'll probably be waiting for popcorn to finish popping in the microwave while putting the finishing touches on my character's eye makeup. Or, still stuck on nose morphing.

Hmm, I will spend much time in the CC making the ultimate badass dunmer. After that I will explore the forests around riverwood, collect various plants and so on to make poison with later on.
I will kill many wolves and sell their pelt in the store (if it is one) in riverwood. Gonna have a talk with Alvor and see if I can learn anything about smithing from him. So basically I will just try to get a grip
on how the world of skyrim works. I also never rush an elder scroll game, I take goooood time exploring. I think I explored seyda neen for about 3-4 hours the first time I played Morrowind, stole everything and talked to anyone I saw, and I love that freedom to just relax and enjoy the little things in such a huge fantasy world.

I'll probably spend the first few hours talking to NPCs and observing their behaviour. Character interaction is something I'm interested in exploring.

Explore. That's all I want to do my first few hours, the world is so vast and wondrous. My first order of business will be Riverwood, it's where I'll receive my great sword and the jumping off point for my crazy escapades. :tops:
