When will the requirements be released?

I've heard bad things about dell's support especially from Alienware if your planning on buying one of thoughs which is extremely overpriced if not the most overpriced laptops/desktops out their.

Im not doing alienware because half of the price of there pcs are the water cooling and the case haha. and how do I responde to other peoples quotes in the same box so I dont have to make a new post?

I guess so but things like this just make me cringe, http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Dell I've heard stories of laptops coming with missing and loose screws/parts. I don't know how well their desktops are though.

Go to Newegg and build your own. like I posted above, you can build a desktop for 550-650 that will max any game in 1080p, at 30+ FPS.

Join a computer forum and look up places online on how to build a computer. It's what I did for the one I built and I'll never go back to pre-built computers ever again.

It is too complex for me to handle and I want to be able to go to one person to fix all my pcs problems.

alright Ill do more research. But with Dell they can come to my house to help me fix it and if I build it on my own no one can help me.

Can you read a manual? Can you put Legos together? then you can build a computer. If you do your homework, it literally takes like an hour or two to build one and have it up and running. Not to mention, you can get the parts, have someone else put it together and still have a better deal than buying a whole PC from somewhere. Dells svck.

It's really not as bad as you think. Its usually just a matter of screwing things into the case and plugging everything in :) My brother helped me out with supervision and stuff, but when I got down to it, the most complex part was trying to arrange the wires so they don't tangle.

If you have any tech savvy friends, I'd say they're probably a lot more reliable than most tech support call centers.

Buy a man a computer and he'll game for a day. Show him how to build one and he'll game for a lifetime.

This. No I won't help anyone buy another pre-built and if OP won't take our advice to build one for himself and rely on a company to do it for them, IDGAF.

http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1228926-the-community-tech-thread-no-106/, and you will see video links on how to build a PC, what parts you'll need and how to get your OS up and running.

While angry, he is still right.

I think you're assuming that it's way more complicated than it really is. For the most part, it's buying the parts and putting them in the right place, and there are plenty of places on the internet (including the tech thread here) that can tell you how to do that and help with any problems you may have.

And like others have said, it's way cheaper and you'll get a much better PC out of it, since you're choosing all the best parts yourself.

Also, $1300 might be a bit much for a PC just to run Skyrim, since, like I said before, it's being made to run on the same 5 year old hardware Oblivion was made for.

My GTX 460 and i5 2400 can handle Crysis on max, so if Skyrim, which is made for the XBox 360, makes my comp chug with that caliber of hardware in it...

I've been assembling computers for over 25 years, these days it really is plug n play, Windows 7 will detect and load the required drivers for your chosen hardware automatically, the only time it gets complicated these days is if you want to do some tweaking, but that's definitely something that should be left to someone with experience.

PS, just be thankful you don't have to contend with Windows 98 anymore :ahhh:
