Hi guys,

I know this is the mod section, but given I'm playing (or at least trying to) modded New Vegas, I thought you would be better suited to helping me, and I've seen other similar threads posted here before.
My problem is better explained with images than anything else, so without further ado, here's my problem:

As you can see, LOD textures are getting priority in certain areas for reasons I cannot understand. There are also physics issues with objects that exist on the sections with the LOD textures, and if I continue to travel over these areas for an extended period I get the second black screen. Reloading an earlier save will correct the black screen, but saving during a black screen and reloading that save results in a persistent black screen.

I have used Driver Sweeper to clean my graphics drivers, and reinstalled multiple times to rule out driver/hardware issues. Other games (including Crysis 2, Starcraft 2, and Deus Ex HR) all run fine.
The New Vegas install is the same one that I have previously put 100 hours into. The only change is a new mod list and whatever changes new patches and DLC have made since I last played (3 months ago).
I have not tried to continue my old save but rather created a new one.

Not sure if its what i am thinking but when i went to use a mod called gamesettings (allows configuration of various things in game eg. perks per level etc), after i started using it the game would progressively lose more and more textures until i had a black screen with HUD.....
I am assuming that the game settings tuner mod you have in the list is the same? I don't know why it did it it just did for me at least others say it works. I got rid of it and loaded up a save prior to the mod being added and game was normal

Thanks for the suggestion, but that doesn't seem to be the issue.
I deactivated it and went through all the usual processes when removing a mod and the same issue was still present.

I'm going to try a clean install to see if that works, because I've tried every combination of active mods - including only the main esm and the problem is not abating.
If this doesn't work I might have to call it a day and give up on New Vegas entirely.
