I've got a save just chilling out at the Vikki and Vance, waiting for the signal.

How does one "prepare" when we have no idea what lonesome road actually entails?
Ulysses tells the courier to bring ALL his weapons.REALLY? Who wants to lug around all that gear?
I don't know what I'll bring because its been so long, I forgot where I left the courier, and where Ileft what gun where.
I may not even jump on the dlc on tuesday.Tired of being frustrated because of the bugs they forgot to fix with ALL THE TIME THEY HAD....

I'm level 45, with 42 perks, the most effective combat gear available, more stimpaks, blood sausage, and thin red paste than God. I hunt Deathclaws for sport, and oh yeah, I'm really, really good at this. I feel confident that I'm prepared.

Just curious what the "most effective combat gear available" is, and do you recommend taking the perk that allows you to get the blood sausage? Seems like a good alternative. I just took Tribal Wisdom for my level 38 perk which gives -50% limb damage from animals, mutated animals, and mutated insects; +25% to Poison resistance; and the ability to eat mutated insects in Sneak mode. I was also considering the blood sausage one too. The higher level I get it seems the more I deliberate about the perk choice, and for nothing too essential.

My guy is level 45 waiting for the lvl cap, i go in without anything other than a duster and a pistol so i can take back as much loot to the lucky 38 as possible and get a real challenge while doing it. Screw gearing up i say. :flamethrower:

That's why I dump all my loot near the exit. :D Though, I have a sneaking suspicion it might be hard to find in LR. :sadvaultboy:

The gear itself is unimportant. I've killed Lanius with a kitchen knife before, so whatever ends up in my hands is going to bring victory. Them's Good Eatin' is a fantastic perk. You will literally never be able to be killed if you have it.

Level 38 and as prepared as I'm ever going to be. Got my shotgun, plasma defender, and sniper rifle, that's all I'm going to need as far as weapons go. I'll make sure to bring 30 or so stimpaks and a few radaway as well. All total to about 50 or so pounds of equipment.
