Oh I'll remember the [censored] out of you! :rofl:

Haha. Armenia humour is also very compatible with western humour.

I kind of felt bad for this guy right up until he started brushing off the help people went out of their way to give him. I'm glad you aren't getting Skyrim since you can't even at least thank people who have tried helping you and give them sarcasm in return. Maybe you should learn the age old life lesson of: Life svcks so be a man and svck it up.

Amen brother!

My mother would always tell me growing up, " oh that's not fair, you say? Well guess what... Life's not fair!"

Best advice anyone has ever given me.

Another russian here wondering the same thing. And let's not get offtopic guys, this thread is srs business.
By the way, can I get a source on the fact that it's ONLY in russian? Because I may just bust this myth by setting Deus Ex Human Revolution as an example. Their copies were first going to be region-blocked but then they listened to the community being negative about it, and changed everything to normal. The easiest and best solution to this problem would be letting people download the english version in Steam. To do this with Human Revolution, for example, you go to
Library -> Right-click HR -> Properties -> Language
And choose english. I hope my suggestion was useful.

It's times like these I'm actually glad there is no company in my country that does game distribution in a remotely serious manner... and no [bleeped]-up [bleep] trying to translate games :biggrin:

Visa and I think Mastercard make gift cards, which work like a temporary credit card. Over here you can buy them from the post office, maybe you can too?

You could try the same sources I used to buy Russian (and other country) versions of games for cheap with no shipping needed. I mean, buy a CD Key online from a store that specialises in tearing open game boxes, scanning the CDKey and selling you a JPG with the result.

As I said, more often than not it's used by non russians to get the cheap russian prices until they started to make separate russian versions that don't include other languages. In a sense, you can blame us for your problems I guess. But the biggest blame is on the f..d up regional pricing system and barriers to online sales that go with it.

A moderator has asked for clarification on this as we don't know the answer either. In the meantime lay off the piracy talk otherwise you will not have access to this forum to find out the answer - OK?

So, any news? I've tried asking 1Ass but they refuse to even acknowledge the fact that they are publishing the game in Russia, yet you can preorder it at their own shop just fine. Amazing.

Yeah as i understand it 1C has a monoply on game disurbution in Russia exactly like GAME in the UK and will refuse to stock any games of the publisher/developer that allows steam to used in that country.
Now on to the VPN facts and myths: Using a VPN or a Proxy to play a game thats be released in one part of the world and not the other will not get your steam account banned. However using a VPN or proxy to actually buy the game in a cheaper territory ( ie I live in australia and the US Store is near 50% cheaper) will get your account banned as it is fraud. Having someone from another country gifting you a copy of the game will not get your account banned as many german players and australian players do it all the time because of strict censorship issues

Which one? Steam support did not reply since QuakeCon and the ticket to Yerevan costs 300 euro.
