Holy crap i really didn't expect that anymore. But he's saying 'a small chance' so it only happens once in a while?

Do you think it will happen enough to RP as the Highlander?

It doesn't really seem to make sense as a perk unless it gives you some sort of bonus? That makes me worried about the value of the perks. Why not just have a gore slider in the options?

Sometimes it's just about style.

Cool, glad they're giving options to everyone. Gory, but not too gory.

I guess my question is:

Is beheading only limited to NPC's or are beasts also under the beheading perk?

It's gonna be beheading only or also arms, legs? I just wonder when it will happen, Pete says small chance, but i sure as hell want to see this, so i really wonder what he means with small chance. If you'd look at Skyrim realistically...every single single attack with a sword should mean lots of cuts and blood from enemies, and eventually it should mean lots of limbs getting chopped off, but then it would be a truly bloody mess. I loved the gore in Fallout , but for Skyrim it would be too much.

well i think its only logical that skyrim has it, comparing whit their last game where you could even SHOOT of a guys head.... :cryvaultboy:

It is very fitting for skyrim

You could punch a guy's head off it was so ludicrous :P

Everyone in Fallout had their limbs held together with spit and elmers glue. If it's just a sword that can lop someone's head off, it's better that way.

One handed perk?!

Is there something about swinging with two hands that makes it harder to sever limbs? :(

Probably they'll make a [censored]in amazing perk for two-handed that just chops your enemy in two

The only thing more violent than a decapitation would be a 2-handed hammer bash to the face.

I wonder if we'll get a perk like that.

The reason it's a perk I think, because there probably will be a perk to disarm your enemy, like in Oblivion. Killing the enemy with this disarming move would mean a decapitation I think.

Sounds great to me. Those that do not want it, can simply not get the perk. Those of us that do, can get it. Simple. Easy. Awesome. :foodndrink:

Will there be lot of blood when the deed is done? I want to see a fountain of blood spray once they've been decapitated.
