Poor Detailing went to Worst

Post » Tue Sep 20, 2011 1:02 pm

Oblivion graphics were never very nice, but at least they were tolerable. Still as they were I could complain, the face edges were pixalated and stepped when viewed from any distance.

I just installed Biu's Bab RC1 body replacer and now the faces are inhuman except close by. I am curious what I should have done, or could yet do, besides re-installing the game. Any help? Thanks.

Are you talking about the stair step effect on the edges of objects? Try enabling anti aliasing.

What you are describing is a lack of anti-aliasing, or a low quality mipmap setting, or both. Make sure you have texture quality set to "high" in Oblivion, and set your video card's mipmap settings to "quality" and/or enable antialiasing.

Like mentioned, that's not Oblivion, it's your graphic card settings. I personally think Oblivion's a beautiful game, even today.
