I like the 3d map, it really shows just how pretty the world actually is. That being said, I understand the OP's concerns, and the complaints are genuine. I will, however, turn to the Skyrim cloth map for all my mapping needs.

I like the 3D map, as long as unexplored areas are fogged out like people are saying.

It beats digging around for the map in the cd case like i had to do with morrowind back in the day, i swear that thing was a [censored] and coffee stained rag when i was done with it.

Someone will hate anything they put in the game. We TES fans are nothing, if not nitpicky.

I think it looks awesome. I don't think you can see anything you've not encountered so it won't be an issue.

The new map looks awesome although i can understand some people dont like it RP wise
