Could someone please list all of the information that we know about the Redguards? I'm very interested in role-playing one for Skyrim and I don't know much about them besides that they're supposedly the beast warriors in all of Tamriel. However, I would like to know more about they're culture, who they like, who they're enemies are, what do they do etc. I really want to get my role-play correct according to the lore and would like to start making a background for my character. Any help at all is appreciated as I am basically starting from scratch here. Thanks!

Thanks! I read over the page and have a question... (there may be more later but just one for now)

How do the Redguard feel towards the Orc race? They conquered them to win their land and begin their life in Tamriel (so I understand)... is there strong opposition between the two races?

Oddly, nothing is straight out implemented with regards to dispositions in Oblivion regarding this (aside from Orcs having a -5 from Redguards, but they get that from everyone) but some level of animosity could be assumed. It's history, but no doubt a painful history for such a maligned race in terms of misfortune as the Orcs are.

I.E. You could always roleplay it that way, absolutely, but nothing's set in stone with regards to it.

Alright thanks I most likely will play my character with a little disposition towards Orcs (it gets pretty boring if you don't have details like this) and one more question...

Do Redguards like blacksmithing? If not then what profession suits them best? What did they do when they lived in Yokuda and what do they currently do in Hammerfell?
