I might be wrong here but is there a general lack of PS3 players who want skyrim.. Are there any differences for the PS3 version compared to the Xbox that we know of?

No idea, but I sure hope not.

I've played both Oblivion and Fallout 3 on PS3 and XBOX and I have no complaints with them, so maybe I'm just not that picky.

PS3 version will probly be just as good as Xbox version. I own both consoles but have pre-ordered it for Xbox because of prefered controller and lack of free space on my PS3.

Only difference should be the controllers :hubbahubba: Maybe loading time, but don't think it'll be more than a couple of seconds...

Anyway, even if the PS3 will be slighty off/inferior, I doubt it will be noticeable unless if you would play the two versions side-by-side. Take Oblivion for example.

as a ps3 fan and i only own a ps3 and a terrible pc,no matter how bad the ps3 port is im still gonna get it anyway:(

The only differences are slightly less load times, slightly better graphics, different controllers, and DLC comes out a month after the 360...that's it so don't :sadvaultboy:
