Eh this is my first time naming (or will name) a character Chuck Norris and actually try to make it look like him after seeing the Chuck Norris in oblivion videos lol.

I usually just totally make up my own name, often using my own name in some way. In The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, my Altmer mage character will be Nalyd (can't decide if I want to pronounce it nā-lid or nā-lēd), which is just my name spelled backwards. My Orc warrior character will be Neran (nair-an) which I want to add to but haven't come up with anything yet. I also plan on playing a Breton mage (mainly to have a classic bearded wizard), but I haven't thought of a good name yet.

There is also http://ebon.pyorre.net/ by Sami Py?rre. It's mostly based on Tolkien languages and the core chapters offer 12 languages. Khajiit and Argonians may have difficulty finding a proper name.

I was going to use the random name generator at http://www.behindthename.com/, set to female Germanic/Norse/etc. names, to figure out what my first character would be named.

Getting http://www.behindthename.com/name/floor as the response ended that idea very quickly. <_<

Actually I think i'll change my characters name to Geralt of Rivia and hopefully the character creator is advanced enough to replicate him or something closely similar. :celebration:

I made up a name for my male Khajiit magician and it turns out there was a female character already with that name (but with a different prefix). Oh well, if it's a female name in lore so be it. I'll just pretend it's either or.

I usually use one of the names from some characters when I first started gaming in Neverwinter Nights. Still my favorite game by the way
