Why is this going to bring anyone back? Anyone who's played this game long enough is already level 50, and since rebooting gets you virtually nothing there's no point to it and thus no reason to grind XP. Also anyone who is shooting for high ranks in the XP ladder should be playing every day regardless of double XP, meaning you'll see them on, but they've always been on.

If you want to get players on the game, have a sale for the game, fix the bugs, or release new content.

Double XP is nothing more than a hack fest IMO, I'll be on the 'battlefield' myself in 9 days anyway.
